The FXIC Event Shaping The FX Industry

Shift Forex will host its inaugural global FX industry event in New York City. The conference features five panels covering areas impacting the industry. The FXIC event taps into the heart of the FX community, assembling buy- and sell-side participants, brokers and technology providers, media and compliance for two days of networking and thought exchange. 

The inaugural Forex Industry Conference will take place today, March 20th, 2013 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, with exclusive pre- and post-event cocktail receptions at Marriott Marquis’ The View and the Hudson Hotel’s Sky Terrace. Speakers, panellists, topics, and sponsors are carefully selected to maximize value for each attendee.

Notable attendees include K Duker -OANDA, Chief Executive Officer K Duker who is Chief Executive Officer of OANDA Corporation. He has a strong track record as an executive leader in the foreign exchange business and in driving successful business growth. Before becoming CEO, K was Managing Director of OANDA Asia Pacific and was responsible for overseeing the company’s operations in the region. Prior to joining OANDA, K worked at Deutsche Bank for nearly ten years, where he headed up the bank’s eFX business in Asia Pacific.He has an MBA from UCLA Business School.
